Life in the Campbell Household

It's been almost a year since my last post. Elijah turned 2 on Jan 25,2010 and Krisalyn just turned 4 on Feb 12, 2010. We have been super busy and are even making preperations for the arrival of our 5th little blessing in May 2010. Time flys but we are trying to enjoy every minute. We are abundantly blessed. And last week our area broke weather records and saw a good 12 inches of powdery white snow. Quite the sight and the kids had a blast playing in it.

Homade Dresses

Well my first attempt at sewing went suprisingly well. I made some 4th of july dresses for the girls.

Beaunna's 7 year Pics

It only took me 3 extra months but I finally took some pictures for Breaunna's 7th birthday.
This is my favorite. I love close ups,and her eyes are amazing in this. I am still working on her slideshow but I will post it soon.

Let's Make some Brownies

My girls love to help in the kitchen so they all worked together to make some brownies.

They did most of the work. Breaunna read the directions and I helped with some of the measuring to ensure a smaller mess. I was proud of them for working together and then end result tastes so good.

8 years

This week on Tuesday June 9, 2009 James and I celebrated 8 years of marriage. I can't say that it's been easy, but I don't think anyone can. It's been work at times and sometimes a breeze. One thing is for sure, I love him more everyday and the time is flying by so fast. Thankyou to all our family and friends who have prayed for us. We are looking forward to the years ahead and the new memories we will make together.

Rain Rain Go Away

Living in Texas, the weather is always interesting. But this is crazy. So much rain, on again off again. The ground is pretty saturated and a new batch of storms should be rolling through soon. What fun, right!

A Day at a Time

These days it does seem like our lives are being lived in the fast lane. Breaunna turned seven back on April 4th. I will have a post all about her soon. TIME!!!!
Easter was fun. Big Sister Shaunna came up with a fun evening the day before Easter. All the grandkids snuck in Grannie and Grandads backyard and hid Eggs, then the grandparents got to hunt them. We then had a yummy dinner and a bit of time to just talk.
I am still working hard reading, studying and apprenticing to become a midwife. It is consuming a large amount of time from my day. And since birth is more of an on-call basis childcare is hard. If any of you know of someone who is looking for nanny work and is interested in being on call, please send them my way.
