Elijah is 5 months old Today! Hurray!!!

My little man is 5 months old today which means 5 month photo shoot. I didn't take very many because I had one specific thing in mind. Now the hard part is actually getting prints and passing them out to family. Just stay on me guys.

We Have a New Member of our Family

Please welcome our new puppy. We named her Little Miss Sunshine and will call her Sunshine. We felt that our other dog Cowboy needed a girlfriend. We let him sniff her last night. He got very excited. Right now I am keeping them separate. Cowboy is so big and fast, I don't want her to get hurt. She will grow fast and soon they will be jumping on the trampoline together with our kids.

I grabbed my camera and set up a prop and backdrop and took a quick photo of her last night that you can see below.

Our Vacation to Galveston

We finally did it. Our first vacation in 7 years. It was only 2 days but worth it and wonderful. My friend Lynsey always takes her family to Galveston each year and invited us this year again. This time we actually went. It was nice to get away. The drive there wasn't bad but comming home we fought off sleep.

We left Wednesday morning after stuffing the car full of things we wouldn't need. We arrived about 5 hours later and checked in to our hotel then it was off to the beach. The kids are no strangers to the water or sand so they had a blast. Poor Breaunna got stung by a jelly fish soon after wading out in the water. She soaked her foot in some salt water and was better for dinner at Rain Forest Cafe. We went back to the beach after dinner and got some great shots on the beach. Day 2 we started off early and hit the beach around 8:15am we swam and built sand castle and collected shells. We ended the day with a BBQ with Lynsey and her kids. It was a great 2 day vacation and we can't wait to go back. Thanks again Lynsey!

Elijah's 1st Haircut

He will be 5 months old in just 5 days and he already needed a haircut (according to his dad) . I wanted to keep the cute curls. He has had so much hair since birth, it was kinda like his signature, crazy hair! So below you can see the before and afters. He is handsome to me no matter what I do.

Summer Heat Makes Water Sweet

Now that school is out and I'm home with the kids, my good friends Lynsey and Sylvia are helping keep me and my children saine with a weekly outing. This week we went to Bedford Splash. It's perfect for kids of all ages. We had a great time and NO SUNBURN! Elijah is truly a water baby. He played then slept the next few hours.

My little graduate

I am a week behind in posting this. My little big girl graduated last Thursday. Yes, I cried. I can't believe she's moving on to 1st grade. Enjoy some fun pics from the day.
