She's getting so big

Breaunna rarely sings if she knows someone is listening. Tonight, I was finishing dinner and Gabi, Krisalyn & Elijah all fell asleep so Breaunna and I were getting some one on one chat time. She asked if we could sing He's got the whole world in His hands. We did then I asked if I could record it. I was shocked when she said yes. So here is a rare moment caught on video. Hopefully not her last.
She also made sure to tell me that He really does have us in his hands and that He loves us very much. I hope this is not a reminder cause something bad is about to happen.

Elijah is 6 months old

It's unbelievable that my sweet little guy is already 6 months old. He is a great big ball of energy and full of smiles and coo's these days. Usually I would take the monthly photos but Gabriella poored a full cup of soda on my expensive camera yesterday and the camera is ruined. It is now being shipped off for repair but won't return for over a month. So I decided to give Portrait Innovations a try. They have a great staff and I felt things ran smoothly. I wanted to take the camera away and take the photos myself but despite the newness of the girl, she captured a few favorites. I put together a slideshow of some of what she captured. I only chose 3 poses to save money. Enjoy!

A little paint go's a long way

After living in this house for 5 years we finally painted one of the rooms. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am no good at house cleaning and organization. I would love for everything to have a place and all to be in order. So I am working on it one room at a time. By sweet big sister said to start with the easiest room and work up. In true form for me I did the complete opposite. Breaunna's room was full of clean clothes needing to be folded, or hung, and 8 bags later of clothes we will be getting rid of the room was done. We painted it on Wednesday and I took some before and after pics. The girls are very happy with the change to their room.

Just a nibble

He looked like a kid with his hand in a candy jar!
Then he didnt want to let go.
He didn't really eat any, just a few licks of his first Sarah Lee Bagel.

Another Day..... No Dollars

In the first few weeks, maybe even the first month or two after quitting my job at Sears I found myself wanting to go back to help. I would call ask about sales or customer service. It was so engrained in me.

Here I am at home with my kids and finally, I am no longer thinking about the sales goals or what problems they are having. I am now back in a mommy routine. We go swimming atleast once or twice a week with friends. I take the girls to the park early in the morning or late at night to avoid the major heat. The house cleaning continues to be the grey cloud that looms over my Sunny days. Atleast they are getting some home cooked meals. Books are being read on a daily basis and lots of hugs and kisses. My kids are doing much better now that I am home. I have my days were I miss work, basicall just for the time away. Sometimes I just need some time away, but for the most part I am loving it. I can't get these moments back.

Elijah is already 5 months. Starting to work on sitting up and standing holding on. He has really be responding to his sisters lately. He lights up when they walk through the room. He will just stare at them till they look at him then he gives a great big smile. He was laughing at Breaunna today. She was singing some spider man song and he was cracking up at her. Where does the time go so fast. They are all getting too big!

Happy Independance Day 2008

The Day isn't over yet but we had a great start. For the last several years we have enjoyed going to the Duncanville City Parade. Aunt Shaunna and Uncle Vinnie picked up breakfast and got to a great shady spot under a tree at 8am. We painted all the boys hair with Red White and Blue. Isn't it great to be an American.
